The forum will bring together pastors, educators and activists from the greater Seattle area to address how the Christian church is preventing the issue of domestic violence from being named. Dr. Nancy Murphy, Adjunct Faculty with MHGS and Executive Director of <a href="http://www.northwestfamilylife.org/">NWFL</a> will facilitate a conversation. This will also be a gathering for worship and remembrance. This event is open to the public. I will be serving on the panel.</div>

This gathering of 550 emerging leaderes from roughly 100 countries will be held in <a href="http://www.geographia.com/malaysia/kualalumpur.html">Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia</a> at the end of September 2006.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" align="left">As a former student of TV Thomas, Robert Coleman, and Ajith Fernando I have heard many stories from this historic movement, and its importance for the evangelical church. I can't believe that I get to participate, wow!<br /></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><font>Rabbi Dov Gartenberg and I met through <a href="http://www.synagogue3000.org/">Synagogue 3000</a>, he and I will be team teaching a <a href="http://www.hillel.org/">Hillel Foundation</a> class in May at <a href="http://www.washington.edu/">University of Washington</a> and <a href="http://www.panimhadashot.com/">Panim Hadashot</a> sponsored by <a href="http://www.jconnectseattle.org/Classes.htm">JConnect</a>.<font>&nbsp;</font> We titled our class:</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="center"><b><font>Seeking Common Ground: A Conversation with a Rabbi and a Pastor</font></b> <font><b>On Religious Identity and Belief in a Pluralistic World</b></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font>Its a rare opportunity for young Christians and Jews to engage in conversation about religious identity and faith in a world of diverse choices and religious contentiousness.</font></p>

<li class="MsoNormal"><font>What does it mean to affirm your faith tradition in a world of multiple ‘truths’’?</font></li>
